We consider adequate travel insurance to be essential for all tours, covering medical expenses and repatriation. You accept full responsibility for ensuring that all members of your party comply with the terms and conditions of the travel insurance purchased. You must give details in writing of your insurance policy (insurer, policy number and 24 hr emergency number) no later than the date the balance of the cost of your tour is due. If you fail to do so, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Please read your policy details carefully and take them with you on holiday. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance cover you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs. We do not check insurance policies.
Please note, our tours require a minimum number of participants to enable us to operate them. If the minimum number of bookings required for a particular tour has not been received, we are entitled to cancel it. We will notify you of cancellation for this reason at least 8 weeks prior to departure of your tour.
British citizens currently require a passport valid for 6 months from the date of entry into Turkey and 3 months from date of exit from Turkey. Your passport must also be valid for at least 60 days beyond the expiry date of your visa, e-visa or residence permit (visas and e-visas are often issued with 6 months validity so your passport may need to have 8 months validity at the time your visa is issued). A visa must be obtained prior to travel and can presently be obtained through www.evisa.gov.tr/en. For all our other tours to the destinations we feature British citizens only require a passport valid for the period of their stay.
If you or any member of your party is not a British citizen or holds a non British passport, you must check passport and visa requirements with the embassy or consulate of the country(ies) to or through which you are intending to travel.
A reasonable level of fitness and mobility is required for the arrangements we offer. All tours involve a significant amount of walking often over uneven terrain, hillsides or steps. Guests on all tours should be able to walk at a reasonable pace, unaided, for a significant part of each day.
If you or any member of your party has any medical condition or disability which may affect your holiday or has any special requirements as a result of any medical condition or disability (including any which affect the booking process), please tell us before you confirm your booking so that we can assist you in considering the suitability of the arrangements and/or making the booking. In any event, you must give us full details in writing at the time of booking and whenever any change in the condition or disability occurs. You must also promptly advise us if any medical condition or disability which may affect your holiday develops after your booking has been confirmed.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office publishes regularly updated travel information on its website www.fco.gov.uk/knowbeforeyougo which you are recommended to consult before booking and in good time before departure.
Please read our Booking Conditions carefully as bookings are accepted only in accordance with the terms and conditions set out here.
